A Church of the Caterham Team Ministry: Caterham Deanery - Diocese of Southwark - Church of England
Welcome to St Mary's

We are a multi-generational and inclusive Anglican church in the heart of Caterham with a wide range of activities and exciting opportunities to meet and help new people within the church community. Our vision is to explore life and Christian faith in an open, friendly and welcoming environment. At St. Mary’s Church, we believe in connecting people to God through vibrant praise and worship.

The Parish of St. Mary’s Caterham takes the safeguarding and care or children and vulnerable adults very seriously. Further information about this can be found by clicking the button below.

Giving to St. Mary's

During this difficult time when our church buildings aren’t opened as often as we would wish, we are still a church; meeting virtually for worship on Sundays, and for prayer services and fellowship, offering practical support to the vulnerable and caring for our communities.  The work of our church is reliant on people’s generosity, and with the closure of our buildings we cannot receive all the gifts that we usually would, so we really need your help now.

If you are able to give more at this time, you can donate directly using this link. Thank you.

Alternatively, to set up a standing order for a regular payment, please ask the admin office for a form which you can send to your bank, by using the form on the contacts page.

We are pleased to announce that, at St Mary’s we will continue our usual Sunday services.  You will find details on the Services page, here.
The celebration of the Eucharist at 9.30am will be streamed live on Zoom for those unable, or reluctant, to attend church in person.

A Prayer for the Time

Jesus, light of the world, come close to us and lighten our darkness in these anxious times. We remember and pray for all who are feeling lonely, for families who are struggling, and for loved ones who have to stay away.

Shed your healing light on those who are sick, and give to us all, strength and comfort in knowing that nothing can separate us from your love in Christ Jesus our Lord.
