Welcome to St Mary's

We are a multi-generational and inclusive Anglican church in the heart of Caterham with a wide range of activities and exciting opportunities to meet and help new people within the church community. Our vision is to explore life and Christian faith in an open, friendly and welcoming environment. At St. Mary’s Church, we believe in connecting people to God through vibrant praise and worship.

Safeguarding

The Parish of St. Mary’s Caterham takes the safeguarding and care or children and vulnerable adults very seriously. Further information about this can be found by clicking the button below.

St Mary's Fundraising

Lent Call

Each Lent since 1986, successive Bishops of Southwark have called the parishes of the Diocese to a time of prayer and generosity, through the Lent Call.

Bishop Christopher’s Lent Call for 2021 focuses on the work of food banks in our Diocese and food insecurity in places where we, as a Diocese, have strong links: Zimbabwe and the Holy Land. For our part in this, St Mary’s will support Caterham Food Bank. We will pray regularly for its work and will encourage one another to give practical help.

You can find out how to donate money and food, or how to volunteer your time, by going to the Foodbank Website, Give-Help page.
